Membership in the Downtown Neighborhood Association
Membership is open to anyone interested in building a strong community in downtown KC. The DNA boundaries include the downtown loop and the river market.
There are a number of issues impacting the quality of life downtown. DNA is an organization dedicated to advocating for the needs of those living downtown above anyone else. From taking strong positions on resident-impacting issues to being at the table for important planning meetings and community committees, DNA ensures that the residents of downtown are represented and heard.

DNA as a group is focused on building relationships among neighbors through our meetings and events. In the process of networking with one another and improving social relations we are surely building a stronger community.
Through our monthly meetings and our committee work we can improve the political and civic awareness of our neighborhood and strengthen our relationship with City Hall and legislators that represent our interests. We encourage our membership to vote and to be informed about the political, civic, and social issues that affect us.
