Egg Hunt overlooking downtown skyline to be held Saturday, April 12

An Easter Egg Hunt overlooking the downtown Kansas City skyline will bring families together at one of the region’s greatest landmarks, the Liberty Memorial.

All families are invited to attend the event, held Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m.—noon, on the north lawn of the grounds. Activities will include an Easter egg hunt, cookie decorating, face painting, petting zoo and an opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny.

As the downtown population grows, it is crucial to present opportunities to families where they live. This year’s event brings together two downtown community organizations, the Downtown Neighborhood Association and Resurrection Downtown, to provide a family-friendly activity near the downtown loop. Both organizations work closely with residents to establish and promote a thriving community in downtown Kansas City.
